About Me
I first started making pictures in 2005, after being inspired by the beautiful scenery and awesome weather of Snowdonia.
I saw so many amazing things I felt I had to start recording them, and returned a few months later with a little 35mm point and click Olympus... And found myself hooked even before I got the first (very disappointing!) prints back.
I soon found myself spending more and more time out in the Peak District with my camera. (And more and more money on upgrading my equipment!)
After receiving several enquiries about prints and canvases I took the decision to become semi-professional at the start of 2008, balancing photography with my day job as a web designer.
You can now find prints, canvases and image licences on this website, and I am currently preparing prints for exhibitions in several galleries and cafes in the Peak District.
Purchasing images
All the images on this site are available as prints, canvases and licenses using the 'buy' button above the images.
All these are printed and shipped from the United States, and while the prices are reasonable, if you find them too much please
get in touch with me - I can also print and frame any image myself and source canvases at lower prices within the UK.
Charities and Not-for profit organisations
In most cases I will be willing to provide images to charities and not-for profit organisations at a considerably lower price - please
get in touch with more details of your requirements.
Equipment
I now use a Nikon D80 DSLR with a variety of lenses - while not the most expensive camera, it is good enough that my ability and vision are the limiting factors in what I produce, rather then the equipment.
